Dr. Jian (Jet) Zhu is a Principal Research Engineer at Polaris Wireless. He received the MSEE and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Dr. Zhu is the team leader for 3D location and tracking research. He’s in charge of location system accuracy, system architecture, bias estimation, and integration. Floor level accuracy (±3m@80%) is demonstrated in CTIA Z-axis indoor testing. Dr. Zhus research interests are in the areas of radio localization, location tracking, RF propagation modeling, data mining, and visualization, especially in an indoor environment.
